During this trip we will cross the northern part of Sardinia, from east to west.
We will make an awesome bike ride visiting the most famous and beautiful beaches, the marine parks with their incredible islands, the hinterland and the landscapes with the typical vegetation made of cork oaks and imposing rocks.
You will cross lonely streets, taste good food and wine, and see places you will never forget.

DAY 1: “TOUR OF THE COSTA SMERALDA” From OLBIA to CANNIGIONE
We start our tour by cycling towards the north from Olbia along the east coast, visiting the beaches of the Costa Smeralda and Porto Cervo, famous for the international jet set and the most luxurious yachts.

DAY 2: “THE ISLANDS” LA MADDALENA and CAPRERA
After breakfast, the day begins with an easy ride along the coast to reach Palau. From there we take the ferry to the island of La Maddalena, visiting one of the most beautiful places in Sardinia. Through its bridge we also reach Caprera, a must for nature lovers, with its wild territory, full of trekking paths and incredible beaches.

DAY 3: “GRANITE QUARRIES” CYCLING TO SANTA TERESA DI GALLURA
After breakfast we are starting the day cycling towards Santa Teresa di Gallura, an ancient village known since the Romanesque period, the most extreme northern town in Sardinia. From here it is possible to see the southern coast of Corsica, easily accessible by boat.
We will travel along fairly lonely roads, where you will see the main industry in the area: the extraction of granite stones and beautiful views. Visit to Capo Testa and its lighthouse.

DAY 4: “DEEP GALLURA” From SANTA TERESA to TEMPIO PAUSANIA
Today you will climb along a unique landscape made of imposing shaped stones and cork forests to the “City of stone” of Tempio Pausania in the heart of Gallura, famous for its Carnival. You will cycle through the “Moon valley” crossing the ancient village of Aggius. Picnic lunch during the trip

DAY 5: “TOWARDS THE COAST” FROM TEMPIO TO CASTELSARDO
Today we cycle from the mountain to the coast, arriving at the very nice and picturesque town of Castelsardo, known for its Doria Castle and entered in the list of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy.

DAY 6: “THE WILD NATURE” ISLAND OF ASINARA AND STINTINO
Today we will leave very early to go by minibus to Porto Torres and take the ferry to Asinara Island. We will visit this small island famous for its unique “white donkeys” and its ancient penal colony. The island is a natural park that has remained intact where animals are not afraid of man. The van will remain on the mainland.
Packed lunches will be provided for the picnic.
By boat we will reach Stintino with its beautiful and renowned Pelosa beach.

DAY 7: FROM STINTINO TO ALGHERO
Today we will ride in a fantastic region in the far west of Sardinia, with many vineyards and impressive cliffs overlooking the sea. We will stop at a local farm to have a fantastic tasting of fresh local food before arriving in the beautiful city of Alghero.
